What is the BEST Shield you have found? Where did you find it and what are it's stats?

Magmas Shield +44 hp (enchanted), -2 dmg (hexed), req 9
Shadow Shield +42 hp (enchanted), -2 dmg (enchanted), req 8

Those are the best I've got but I bought them, didn't find them.

I'm partial to stances, so I like the Crimson Carapace collector's shield from the desert. It costs five bleached shells, which run 1k+ right now each. Buying the shield outright is about 5-10k because the shells are hard/take-time to farm.

I believe the stats are:

Armor 16 (req. 9 Tactics)
Health +45 while in stance
Recieved DMG -2 while in stance

NOTE: Bleached SHELLS (not Carapaces despite the shields name). The collector is outside Thirsty River past a teleporter jump.

AL: 12
Health +45 (enchanted)
-2 dmg (enchanted)

I use the stance for when i need a tank for like FoW/UW/Sorrows furnace, and the enchanted one for farming/questing/missions. Both are collectors because i ddnt wanna pay the outrageous prices people want in LA for the same thing in a tall/skull/aegis.eternal.shadow/etc.... shield.

yes those and malinons shield are the best realisticly, there are theoreticly gold shields (if they had those same mods) that would fetch far more. but a gold shield with those kinds of mods would be close to impossile to find.

I have seen Gold Sheilds with -3 dmg recieved (in stance/while enchanted/while hexed) and I have seen gold sheilds with the +45 health (same conditions).

If you got a gold shield that combined both of those (-3 dmg received, and +45 health) and they were for the same condition (like both wihle enchanted) - you'd be a rich man I beleive.

+42 Enchanted and -2 recieve dmg enchanted. Thinking about selling it for a ridiculous price because I know someone out there is crazy enough to pay for it.

-3 damage is only while hexed. -2 is highest for enchanted and stanced.

I wanted to get one for my guildie.
I checked sometime last week and he was still there and there have been no updates since then unless they took it out in the same update as removing the Halloween decorations.

All max armor:
Defender (req 8 str) 44e/-2e
Round Shield (req 8 tac) +30 always
Shield of the Wing (req 8 tac) -2e/-2s
Malinon Shield / Grognar Defender / Crimson Carapace

All the shields above were traded for. Best shield I've found is Eternal 16/8str -2e, I don't farm very much.

I don't think they were removed - I remember them being moved to another area though. However, I haven't checked since I've been aiming at the 16AL stance shield

The 45/-2 AL 16 enchanted was removed around the time of the SF update. There is an AL 9 shield with those stats still available. The only 45/-2 16AL now readily available is the Malinon's Shield. Golds of other types still show up, but at the expected price premiums.

That collector has been changed to a hexed version of it. He's outside Rankor.

The one I was referring to was the AL12 one found in Maguuma Jungle (from Vargil the White IIRC), quoted from MistressYichi.
I didn't even know there was a collector's AL16 +45 -2 enchanted shield.
Dammit! I can't believe I missed out on that!

The AL12 +45 -2 enchanted shield is the best shield I've used to date and works fine for griffon farming and thats all I use my warrior for anyway. I'm too cheap to fork over 90k for a Malinon's.

Dammit! I can't believe I missed out on that!

I went back to get second one and it no longer showed up at that collector. dont knwo if they just moved it or not, but have heard several people ask about this shield in game and was told that it was removed with the removal patch of the halloween decorations.

The AL 16, +45/-2 enchanted shield was removed for the green version of it which is Malion's Shield, and the other "in stance" collector above rankor was changed to while hexed which i also use for running as anywhere in this game, you seem to be hexed more often than youre not.

Canthan Targe

AL 14 (10 tactics)
hp +30 (8 strength)
energy +2 (8 axe mastery)
energy +2 (8 swordmastery)

Didn't need to find it, I start the game with it...

I also currently have this gold shield reading:
16 AL (8 tactics)
-2 dmg in stance

I use my Canthan Targe [that nobody can acquire! MUAHAHAHA] for pve purposes cause it's Godly like that. For PvP where I don't want 10 in tactics, I use the gold shield I bought there for 1k.

The +enchanted collector's shield now requires massive jawbones. You can find it at the southernmost collector on the (west) border between arid sea and vulture drifts.
